Ten Random Facts about Kelsey – Kelsey Browning

Ten Random Facts about Kelsey

Jennifer Tanner, friend and faculty member at Romance University, was kind enough to tag Brain Candy on her blog last week. Now, it’s my turn to share 10 random facts about me and tag four blogs I think are worth a read!

Be patient as this post goes over Brain Candy’s normal length.

Kelsey…

  1. Stayed in a Kuwait City hotel that was bombed out during the Iraqi invasion (many years later, of course).
  2. Once threw up in a sock when stuck on a bus at the Frankfurt airport.
  3. Despises raspberries. They demean good chocolate on a regular basis.
  4. Lusts after office supplies. Latest addition is an Oxo hole punch :-).
  5. Taught herself to knit (not well, but still…).
  6. Had a pet goat named Gabby as a kid.
  7. Dreams of driving a Camaro convertible.
  8. Actually drives a Smart Car and loves it!
  9. Celebrated her 40th birthday in the Maldives.
  10. Gets the heebie-jeebies from chewed food.

Now for a few blogs I think are fun, cool, informative and worth a look-see:

For a good time, read Robin Covington’s Burning Up the Sheets. Robin features Man Candy Monday; her unique perspective on life; and commentary on books, TV shows and movies she loves.

Margie Lawson, instructor, psychologist and all around fab lady features published students from her classes on the Pubbed Margie Grad Blog. It’s a great way to get to know new authors and gain a little insight into what helped them get published.

Poet and coach for creative professionals, Mark McGuinness always has interesting tidbits (and sometimes free e-books!) on his blog, Lateral Action. Mark primarily focuses on using your creativity to construct a viable business model.

A relatively new site, Author EMS (Entrepreneurial Management Services)** will ramp up its functionality in November. But in the meantime, you can pick up some great daily tips for managing your writing business. The posts focus on marketing/promo, self-publishing, finance, social media, technology, productivity and author basics.

** Full disclosure: I write some of the daily tips at Author EMS.

Go ahead share a random fact about yourself. My lips are sealed!

Today is Alternative Fuel Day – living with two guys and a dog with a flatulence problem, I have to wonder how far I could drive on methane.
