Thanks, Y’all to Brooke Bumgardner at Brooke Blogs!

This month, I’m doing the Thanks Y’all shout-out to Brooke Bumgardner. Brooke is just an all-around fabulous lady–running her blog, being a mama to her kids, hanging out on the Dangerous Darlings street team, and much much more! I’m was thrilled to finally meet Brooke when she flew (for the first time!) from her home to Milwaukee for the Barbara Vey Reader Luncheon in April. And guess what? Yep, she sat at MY table. Score for me!

Thanks for popping by Brain Candy, Brooke!

Please give us a two-sentence overview about your blog.

I blog at http://www.brookeblogs.com, where I review all genres of books (except erotica) and do product reviews and giveaways. My blog is family friendly and lots of fun!

Check out Brooke Blogs, y’all!

First three words that come to your mind when you think of the romance reading community.

Smart, Sweet, Sassy

Thanks YallHmm…sounds vaguely familiar. Well, except for the sweet part ;-) .

Who are your top three auto-read authors?

Kelsey Browning, Tracey Devlyn and Tonya Kappes

I swear I didn’t pay Brooke to say this. Would I have paid her? Well, that’s another story!

What’s next up in your TBR pile?

Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi

Give us a juicy, fun fact about you!

Juicy?! Hmm…My boyfriend is younger than me. ;)

Ooh la la! I like the sound of that. I’m married to a younger man so I’m all for it!

Speed Round:

Spicy or mild? Spicy!

Fly or drive? Fly! I think.

Oreos or Chips Ahoy? Chips Ahoy

Facebook or Twitter? Facebook…I’m too longwinded for Twitter.

Small town or big city? Small town.

I do love all these small-town fans since that’s what I love to write about. Thanks bazillions for letting me grill you for Brain Candy, Brooke!

Today is Stay Out of the Sun Day. Guess that’s not bad advice seeing as you’ll probably be IN the sun plenty over the long July Fourth weekend. What are your plans for the holiday? As you can imagine, I’ll probably be lounging in a hammock at the cabin (um…when I’m not doing something incredibly productive, that is ;-) ).

      Brooke -

I so appreciate your taking the time to do the interview. I love learning more about readers and bloggers. I think it makes the connection so much more personal and real. I LOVED meeting you in the spring. Wished we had even more time to talk. That’s the challenge about a group event–lots of people, lots of fun, but not enough time with each individual people. :-(

Thank you tons and tons for your kind words about my books – those things keep me going on the bad days.

      K-
